Turner Global Growth Equity Fund - Class I Euro

The Turner Global Growth Equity Fund invests primarily in a portfolio of equity and equity-related securities and is comprised of an actively managed portfolio of approximately 60-80 global growth stocks, generally with capitalisations of greater than US$3 billion (USD, at purchase) that Turner Investment Partners, Inc. believes have strong earnings prospects.

The Fund is generally sector neutral to the Russell Global Growth Index (that is, its sector weightings will approximate those of the benchmark), and will typically be fully invested, with cash ranging from 0-3% of the Net Asset Value.

Investment Objective
To maximise total return, primarily through capital appreciation, and outperform the MSCI World Growth Index over a full market cycle (i.e. a 3 to 5 year rolling cycle).

Investment Process

The Turner Global Growth Equity Fund's investment process involves the use of three tools to evaluate stocks for investment or continued ownership:

  • a proprietary computer model, used to screen candidates for investment according to numerous earnings-growth and valuation factors. Companies thus screened are ranked from the first percentile (most attractive) to the 100th percentile (least attractive). Those ranked in the top 35% qualify for further consideration.

  • fundamental analysis, used to ascertain if the companies we follow will exceed, meet, or fall short of consensus earnings expectations.

  • technical analysis, used to evaluate trends in trading volume and prices of individual stocks.
